Pack 460 at Holy Redeemer has their Arrow of Light crossover ceremony this upcoming Saturday, May 31 at 5:00 pm. One of the new scouts joining GT8 (Maren) and at least one other potentially interested scout will be crossing over formally that evening.

During the normal GT8 Troop meeting on June 2 at 6:30 pm, the leaders will be meeting with all parents to talk about troop operations, volunteer opportunities, and answer any questions about the troop or scouting in general.

The final Court of Honor before the summer is going to be held on June 9. For all scouts who are working on merit badges or rank advancement, all requirements must be completed and provided to ASM Grabb no later than June 2.

For all new scouts or scouts who have not earned their Tenderfoot rank, a fitness test for the Tenderfoot requirement will be held on Sunday, June 8 at 9:30 AM at Silver Creek Middle School in Kensington. We will meet near the soccer field behind the school. If you took the initial fitness test earlier this spring, this will count as your follow-up test if you have been doing your 30-day fitness plan.

Due to the Memorial Day holiday, we are canceling the GT8 Troop meeting on May 26. We look forward to seeing everyone on June 2. Enjoy the holiday!

Summer camp is nearly here. We will be meeting virtually at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 27 to discuss the details of summer camp. If at all possible, all scouts attending summer camp should attend.
