Monday, November 17, is the last day of wreath sales. Please bring all completed sales sheets, along with cash and checks, to the meeting. Also please be sure to follow up with anyone paying electronically to ensure they have completed their transactions.

Personal Management - Thank you to GT8 Scouts who attended the session last Saturday. Ms. Allen and Mr. Kildee will be available during weekly meetings beginning this Monday to discuss and review work for the remaining requirements. For Scouts needing time outside of a meeting, please contact either counselor to schedule a zoom meeting when you are ready.

You may have received an email reminder from Scouting America about your annual membership renewal. Please renew before the expiration date of 12/31/25.

GT8 is building out its crew for the Cavalcade Trek at Philmont Scout Reservation in July 2027. If you have already talked to ASM Tucker about attending, please make your first deposit of $150 to reserve a space in the crew by December 1. To avoid fees, we are asking scouts to pay by check made out to Girls Troop 8, if at all possible. The next payment will not be necessary until next fall.

On December 13-14, GT8 will be camping at the Marsden Tract campground along the C&O Canal within Billy Boat Trail Loop B.

GT8 is attending Camp Sinoquipe again for Summer Camp in 2026. We are attending Week 3 of camp, which is from June 28-July 4. Please register now if you can attend. Full details are available in the calendar entry. The initial payment of $200 is due on March 1 and the final payment of $300 is due on April 1. Families can also begin completing the BSA Health Forms, Parts A-C, particularly if scouts are having annual checkups done. The health forms are not due until May 1, but the required physical is good for 12 months, so anything done between now and then will suffice if the BSA form is completed by the doctor.
